Warehouse Buildings in Gothenburg

Our latest project in Gothenburg demonstrates that warehouse buildings have great potential to be both energy-efficient and environmentally friendly when designed with care and a focus on sustainability. This project is an example of how carefully selected materials, innovative energy solutions, and modern design can make this type of building a sustainable asset.

Key features of the project include:

  • Sustainable Material Choices: All building materials have been carefully chosen to minimize climate impact.
  • Energy Efficiency: A combination of natural and mechanical ventilation, along with a high-efficiency heat pump (COP), ensures optimal energy use.
  • On-Site Renewable Energy Production: The installation of solar panels (PV) is expected to generate approximately 78,000 kWh per year. This exceeds the building's estimated energy consumption, transforming the facility into a small solar park.

The complex consists of:

  • 12 Warehouse Units
  • Kitchen, Toilets, and Offices
  • Two Office Sections: Including conference rooms and support functions for office operations

With its strategic location and ample parking, this complex is an excellent opportunity for small businesses to grow and develop. To ensure the building's environmental performance, daylight and energy simulations have been conducted. The building is designed to meet certification requirements for Miljöbyggnad, BREEAM-SE, and LEED, guaranteeing that it achieves the highest standards of sustainability and efficiency. This project demonstrates that industrial buildings, often overlooked in sustainability discussions, can achieve exceptional environmental performance while meeting the needs of modern businesses.
