Chop Chop Östersund

Ecostruct Innovations AB produced the architectural construction documents (Bygghandling) for the new Chop Chop restaurant in Östersund, part of Lillänge Retail Park together with BAUHAUS and JYSK. We ensured that the design complies with both the municipal building permit (Bygglov) and the requirements for Miljöbyggnad 4.0 Silver.

Our work also included BIM coordination, energy calculations, and the preparation of key Miljöbyggnad indicators, such as:

• Energy Use, Heating Power Demand, and Solar Heat Load - to achieve low energy consumption and avoid overheating.
• Climate Impact - to minimize greenhouse gas emissions from materials and operations.
• Thermal Comfort (Winter and Summer) - to ensure a healthy and pleasant indoor environment all year round.
• Flexibility & Disassembly and Circular Material Flows - to enable future adaptation, reuse, and recycling of materials.

The result is a modern, energy-efficient, and climate-resilient restaurant building that meets high environmental standards and supports long-term circular construction.
